Description:

This design is built upon elements from other learning designs and theories of 21st century learning, self-directed learning and problem-based learning (PBL). Elements from PBL, Real Engagement through Active Problem Solving (REAPS) and Thinking Actively in a Social Context (TASC) are included in this design. In addition there is a defined ICT element as students use Web 2.0 programs to document their research and findings. Students demonstrate reflection in action as they work in small groups on an ill-defined problem or issue, gather information, refine their ideas, create a solution and reflect on their journey.
