Long distance supervision of student projects at MBG
Description:
A design to use flipped classroom for long distance supervision for a student (master or PhD) in molecular biology and genetics, with a project on 'omics' analysis and bioinformatics. This specific design applies to the analysis stage of the student project.
Intended Learning Outcomes:
- Be able to use and adjust an analysis pipeline
- Discuss the code and analysis results with a supervisor (and peers)
- Address and identify problems in the pipeline or with the coding
- Use statistical tools to evaluate the quality of the data and the results
- Use a tool like Adobe Connect to present and discuss the project
